Running & Cross-Country Skiing Instruction

Boulder, CO

Meet The Instructor

Adam began racing on XC skis in high school, continued in college, and has been coaching young XC skiers ever since. For the last 8 years he has coached the Boulder Nordic Junior Racing Team, working with athletes 8-19 years old.

Adam has been a runner for even longer than I’ve been a skier. Track and field was his first foray into running. He was a decathlete and enjoyed running, jumping, and throwing events. Since college, Adam has become more of a long distance runner (mostly trails 50km-100mile long races).

Adam specializes in teaching proper running mechanics and in assisting runners returning from injury. He is new to working with children and teenagers with disabilities, but he is excited to learn and apply his coaching knowledge to a different population. Adam understands the value of the IFSN program and recognizes how it can help people with disabilities, such as his sister-in-law, who has a variety of developmental challenges.

After completing the initial IFSN assessment, contact Adam at any time to begin discussing how ASTP can best support your child.
